Présentation

Welcome to the HAL Collection of the laboratory Clermont Research in Management (CleRMa - EA 3849).

Clermont Research in Management (CleRMa) is the management research joint laboratory (EA3849) of Clermont Auvergne University and ESC Clermont Group. CleRMa articulates its research around the theme of sustainable management and aims at shedding light on the practices implemented by managers, investors and users, in order to ensure the sustainability of firms and public organizations.

A sustainable organization must pursue the objectives of enhancing the human potential of its employees and furthering its knowledge. It must also look beyond mere financial performance in order to account for the social and environmental impacts of its business. Finally, it must develop a strategy that is in line with the characteristics of its territory and local stakeholders. With that in mind, the research activities of CleRMa are organized around three axes:

- The Alter-Management, Human Potential and Innovation (AMPHI) axis studies the new rules of the managerial game imposed by an economy, which increasingly relies on knowledge and creativity. More specifically, this axis focuses on the management of extreme situations, such as explorations, new processes of employee empowerment, and new forms of HRM.

- The Finance, Information and Corporate Responsibility (FIRE) axis aims at studying the behavior of firms, investors and individuals facing multiple contemporary financial challenges. The research carried out focuses on the links between financial performance and corporate social and environmental responsibility, governance, the quality of accounting information and risk management.

- The Territorial Strategy and Actors Networks (STeRA) axis studies the development of organizational strategies such as collaboration, cooperation and coopetition and looks at how the interactions between multiple actors (private and public entities, associations) shape their practices as well as the ecosystems in which they operate. The mechanisms underlying these phenomena are analyzed through multidisciplinary approaches mobilizing theoretical frameworks from strategy, public management, logistics, and marketing.

Various research chairs have been set up within these axes, namely the Innovation and Exploration Open Lab, the Value and CSR chair, the Health and Territories chair, and the Alter-governance chair. Research contracts have also been established. These initiatives show a dynamic and high-quality research activity that is conducted in close collaboration with organizations and practitioners.
