Réflexion et métaphore chez Roland Barthes

Abstract : The purpose of this article is to question the function and the issues of metaphor in Roland Barthes’ theoretical writings: if images are usually considered an obstacle to all accurate intellectual activity, why does Barthes constantly resort to them? To exemplify, special attention will be given to his use of the word « corps ».
